Why opt for engineered wood?
The structure of engineered wood is composed of multiple layers of timber stuck together, finished with a final layer of hardwood which can vary from 2mm to 6mm. What’s great about this type of flooring is that it is robust and compatible with underfloor heating systems.
Some products come with a micro V-Groove bevelled edge to give an authentic and stylish looking fit, whilst an authentic saw-cut style surface replicates the true texture and feel of saw cut wood. There are choices of finishes, from UV protective lacquer or UV-oiled finish to a UV matt coating.
We stock a range of unique and characteristic engineered hardwood floors from Natural Solutions, which works in line with sustainable forestry management requirements. Most of this flooring is oak and is carefully selected for the best grain and overall wood quality.
